FUNDING REQUEST

Housing for Nagaland Care Taker

DEADLINE:
December 31, 2020

Close up of wooden mold with steel rod forming the foundation beam at construction site

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Church in Nagaland is requesting funds toward the construction of the caretakers home who manages the entire ministry center facilities and grounds. Pastors conferences, mission conference, leadership retreat, an annual Hindu- Muslim faith, and love conference, training of farmers and self-help group are all conducted in this resource center. This is a resource center for 62 churches and three mission fields. Since the construction of this resource center six years ago, there has been no caretaker to take care of it because there is no place for the care taker’s family to stay. Our office rooms, conference room, guest rooms, and even our accountants and finance office are all in this one resource center. All these years it has been left without proper care. This year we have decided to construct a home for the caretaker to stay on the premises. The Church has raised 1/4 of the funds. The matching grant from GHI will help them raise the rest and complete the project.
