Raja’s Story: Generosity that Warms the Hearts and Touches Lives in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, India, Pastor Raja has been extending love and care to people in need for the past 25 years, mostly orphans (both boys and girls) who are suffering from leprosy. Since it has been very cold in the last few weeks, Pastor Raja has expressed the importance of blankets for the kids and the leper community in the community.

Their team has recently received a generous donation from Global Hope India, which will be used to provide warm blankets and other necessities for the children and lepers in their care. Since most of the houses in India do not have heating systems, it is difficult, on cold days, to find sources of warmth. It is the only way to help keep the people of the community warm and prevent them from getting sick due to the cold temperatures.

There have been several news stories of children getting sick in India and hospitals reaching full capacity due to the high number of admissions. While these weather-related illnesses are not life-threatening, they are costly and painful. It is crucial to prevent more children from getting sick by keeping their immune systems up through proper nutrition, warmth, and maintaining clean surroundings.

Raja's Story

It has been amazing how God continues to use others, such as the Ayers, the Kirkleys, and the Roysters, to help the community, and to enable Pastor Raja to help more children and lepers.

Let us pray that God will continue to keep the children and lepers healthy and safe, and most importantly that they will be prevented from getting sick in the future.
