Manoj’s Story: Bringing Hope to the Hopeless

In 2002, Pastor Manoj Magar saw the vastness of children searching for food in roadside garbage. With that view, he knew he had to do something. He then started the Rays of Hope.

Pastor Manoj, a philanthropist and entrepreneur, saw the need to help children, women, the elderly and tribal communities. His ministry focused on two aspects – spiritual and social needs.

He supports the spiritual needs of the people through evangelization, church planting, and Bible school. To address their social needs, Pastor Manoj created programs and projects for orphans, the red light community, elders, and the development of tribal communities.

His missionary work aims for a life-long transformation of each individual who is in need.

With this mission, Rays of Hope has developed various projects such as food, shelter, and foster families for destitute children, women, and the elderly. Their projects cater to the need for child development programs for children on the street, care for HIV+ affected families, and livelihood programs for widows, just to name a few.

Since 2002, the desire to help every child, woman, and elder in need is inscribed in Pastor Manoj’s heart. This is a great mission yet challenging and it will only become possible with the help of generous donors.
