During our founder’s first trip to India in 1998, God planted part of his heart in India. (Click here to Meet Pastor Kevin.) He returned three years later with his 11-year-old son and again three years after that with his 11-year-old daughter.
In 2003, GHI incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non profit organization for the sole purpose of having a bank account and ability to offer donors a tax-deductible receipt.
This hobby of taking teams on mission trips to India grew from one team a year, to two teams per year and then three.
In October 2010, while Pastor Kevin was speaking to a group of gospel workers in Hyderabad, India, God broke his heart for the pastors of India and called him to focus full-time on empowering The Church as they make Christ known among the people of India.
During the next 12 years, Global Hope India took over 1,000 people from the USA to serve the church in India. Today, thousands of Americans and Indians have been radically transformed through this mission, and millions of dollars have been collected for the Lord’s work through Global Hope India.

In Vijayawada, God’s word was PROPHECY as we prayed for bible colleges, babies, hospitals, and many things to come forth in Jesus name.
In Hyderabad, God’s word was FAITHFUL as we celebrated 25 years of ministry in India. It was moving to see 25 years of miracles and answers to prayers with my own eyes. We celebrated the release of Only God Works in 3 more languages.
In Chennai, God’s word was FAMILY as we shared God’s word, counsel, and prayer over many family matters.
In Mumbai, God’s word was KINGDOM as we worshiped with orphans and had several strategic meetings with kingdom business leaders. The Hope Center in Mumbai is nearly constructed. It is 3 times bigger than before! It was powerful to stand on top and pray over the entire red light district below.
We want to thank everyone who has prayed, given, and gone to India with Global Hope India. We believe the best is yet to come. Let’s not stop until everyone’s soul in India knows Jesus as Savior and Lord.
