Dr. Anil Benjamin, a practicing family physician, social worker, worship leader, and mentor, became aware of the dire need for improvement in healthcare and child development.
In 1990, he started the Bridge of Hope, which aims to support rural and tribal communities in India with a focus on the most vulnerable – the children, women, and the elderly.
Over the years, Bridge of Hope created programs and projects to support (a) child development with 280 children ages primary education to university level; (b) youth development and women empowerment which provides vocational skills training for young women; (c) specialty healthcare services with a 20-bed hospital for a rural community; and (d) care for Leprosy patients by providing medicines and rice.
Dr. Anil, together with his wife and two children, looks forward to continuing with the mission and expanding it by creating new projects and programs like sports ministry for children and youth, acquiring new hospital equipment, furnishing the 2nd floor of the hospital with additional beds, and providing patient transportation.
All these will only be made possible with your prayers and support. If you are led to donate, you may send it online or if you’d prefer to give by check please make it payable to and mail it to:
